2010 LATE MODEL ALLIANCE RULES CLARIFICATIONS
(From 1-7-10 meeting held in Jackson, MI)

THE LATE MODEL ALLIANCE is committed to preserving and maintaining outlaw super late model racing in the Midwest, as demonstrated by the support of these tracks and touring series that were present for this meeting. The group will keep in touch throughout the 2010 season and has agreed to meet again in October of 2010.
Tracks present:
Michigan: Auto City, Berlin, Dixie, Flat Rock, Kalamazoo, Owosso, Spartan
Ohio: Toledo
Indiana: New Paris, Plymouth
Touring Series: Great Lakes Outlaw Late Models (Main Event not represented, but will work with LMA).
NOTE: A video will be made to demonstrate how cars will be checked. Each track will post this video on their respective websites for reference.
NOSEPIECE: The 8” x 15” measurement will be eliminated. The rule will read as follows:
After-market nosepiece, which may extend maximum of 45 inches from center of hub to tip of nose, including lip/splitter. Maximum width of lip is 4 inches. Nosepiece flare must be flush with top of fender.
BODY PART(S)CLARIFICATION
Body to be mounted in conventional manner-no recessed body panels, vents, louvers, rolled-in fenders, offset quarter panels, etc.
Wheel flare(s) cannot extend past sidewall of tire and cannot extend back past rear of tire, and can be no higher than actual quarter panel or fender.
Spoiler and right rear of quarter panel cannot be closer than 3 inches to outside of right rear tire.
Rear deck lid drop or “belly” may have maximum of 1 inch drop, checked with straight edge from side to side of rear quarter panels.
FOR 2011: NO titanium or carbon fiber rotors or driveshafts (some tracks already have this rule).
